To actively advance the “Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong” initiative and promote collaborative talent cultivation among universities, local governments, and enterprises, Wuyi University School of Mechanical and Automation Engineering visited Guangdong Xiecheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of May 13, 2026, for an on-site industrial study program.

The event was jointly organized by the Xinhui District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Bureau of Industry, Commerce and Information Technology, and the Yinhu Bay Coastal New Area Industrial Park Administrative Committee. Key attendees included Party Secretary Yi Zhengqiang, Deputy Secretary Yang Yuhao, Counselor Li Qianqian, and Deputy Director He Yun from the Xinhui District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

At around 14:00, the delegation arrived at XIECHENG. Guided by Vice General Manager of the Manufacturing Center, Lu Xiaoxing, the group visited key areas including the manufacturing center, R&D center, and product showroom.

From precision machining production lines to independently developed intelligent equipment, and from core technological breakthroughs to global market deployment, the visit offered students a vivid, real-world perspective of advanced equipment manufacturing at the county level in China.

Many students expressed that this was their first close-up experience with the full process of industrial automation and smart equipment manufacturing, giving them a deeper understanding of the true strength behind “Made in China.”
