Wuyi University Delegation Visits XIECHENG for Industry-Academia Exchange

To support the “Millions of Talents Gathering in South Guangdong” initiative, deepen industry-academia collaboration, and better align talent development with industry needs, a delegation from the School of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, Wuyi University visited Guangdong Xiecheng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (“XIECHENG”) on August 17.

The delegation was led by Party Secretary Yi Zhengqiang and Vice Dean Liang Shufen, with Associate Professors Li Huasong and Tang Jianhua, Dr. Li Shenglin, and Counselor Guan Haisen also in attendance. XIECHENG General Manager Fu Zhibo and HR & Administration Manager Chen Lanying warmly welcomed the delegation.

Exploring XIECHENG’s Intelligent Manufacturing Capabilities

The delegation visited XIECHENG’s smart industrial park and production facilities to learn about its manufacturing processes and technological innovations.

During the visit, General Manager Fu Zhibo introduced XIECHENG’s latest developments in automation and energy efficiency, including the Energy-Saving Intelligent Control Electric Box, High-Precision Optical Mold Temperature Controller, and Intelligent Gravimetric Blending System. He also explained their technologies in energy saving, temperature control, and automation. The delegation recognized XIECHENG’s manufacturing capabilities and production scale.

Following the factory tour, both sides held a discussion on talent needs, automation technology upgrades, and energy-saving R&D.As a specialized and innovative SME and National High-Tech Enterprise with more than 15 years of industry experience, XIECHENG has a growing demand for high-level technical and innovative talent. Wuyi University’s strengths in mechanical engineering and automation closely match XIECHENG’s business needs, creating strong potential for cooperation in industry-academia-research projects, joint technical development, and graduate employment.The exchange laid a solid foundation for future collaboration.
